Therapy for the seasons of change
For adults and couples navigating life’s transitions in work, in love, and in the quieter shifts of a life being re-examined.
Meet Dr. Goss
Kelly Goss, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in New York City. She works with adults and couples navigating life's transitions as well as those experiencing anxiety or executive functioning challenges. Many of her patients are thoughtful, accomplished people who come to therapy because they are navigating a season of life that asks something new of them.
Her approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and practical, offering a space to make sense of what's happening, gain new perspective, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
She provides secure virtual therapy for patients throughout New York state.

Before your reach out
-
We start with a complimentary 15-minute call. It's a chance to share what's bringing you in, hear how I work, and feel out the fit. If it feels right, we schedule a first full session from there.
-
Most patients meet weekly, especially at the start — consistency is where the work gains traction. Some move to every other week over time. We'll find a rhythm that matches your needs and your life.
-
I'm an out-of-network, private-pay provider. I provide detailed superbills you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many plans reimburse a portion of each session.
-
That uncertainty is welcome — and common. The consultation exists precisely for this. There's no pressure to continue; the goal is simply to help you find the right support, whether that's with me or elsewhere.
